An amazing hotel. The management were extremely attentive to our needs throughout, including little touches such as organising free transport to the station and, in the evening, a free glass of wine. The museum decor is unique and nice to see. The hotel is in walking distance of most sights as well as some nice bars (try Blues Bar). Highly recommended if visiting Samarkand.

One of the best boutique hotels I've ever stayed in. This is a family-owned hotel with fantastic room décor (done by the owner and her daughters), great location just steps from the main streets of Bukhara, and the friendliest staff. They have the cutest little yard where you can have breakfast outside. There's also a 24/7 reception desk, which is a great perk that I didn't always encounter in other boutique hotels I stayed in. They'll schedule you a taxi ride, offer you coffee, or just engage in a soulful confersation with you about life in general, it feels like you're part of the family.

I recently stayed at Sarhad Hotel in Bukhara and had a very positive experience. This is a new hotel, managed directly by the owners, who clearly take pride in providing excellent service to their guests. The staff were attentive throughout our stay (there were 5 of us in two rooms) and always did their best to ensure comfort and convenience. Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous and tasty selection to start the day. A particularly thoughtful gesture was on the day of our early departure for Khiva: the hotel kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for the train journey, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, Sarhad Hotel combines modern comfort with genuine hospitality, making it a very good choice for anyone visiting Bukhara.
