It is beautifully crafted in the style of local palaces and the family that own it are simply gorgeous, the lady speaks amazing English, the children are charming and even their young British Blue cat is supremely cute😂 The staff are always on hand and are genuinely friendly and go out of their way to ensure you make the most of your time - on hand at breakfast (which is superb 👌) to explain the food and to look after you. Also, laundry is charged at only 10,000 Som per item. The hotel in Khiva charged 20-45,000 per item, depending on what it was.

Guest reviewI recently stayed at Sarhad Hotel in Bukhara and had a very positive experience. This is a new hotel, managed directly by the owners, who clearly take pride in providing excellent service to their guests. The staff were attentive throughout our stay (there were 5 of us in two rooms) and always did their best to ensure comfort and convenience. Breakfast was a highlight, with a generous and tasty selection to start the day. A particularly thoughtful gesture was on the day of our early departure for Khiva: the hotel kindly prepared a takeaway breakfast for the train journey, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, Sarhad Hotel combines modern comfort with genuine hospitality, making it a very good choice for anyone visiting Bukhara.
