The whole experience was magical, and one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We were blown away by the efforts made by Danielle in hosting us, from the amazing home cooked food in such a beautiful setting to making sure we had clean rooms, new towels, and made beds to return to every morning. As for the safari, it is difficult to find the words to describe how amazing this was. We really appreciated JP sharing his experiences and knowledge of the animals and his patience in answering our many questions. There is nothing like seeing an elephant with its baby walk right past you or a lion so full after a kill that it can barely move. In the end, we saw zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, impala, rare wild dogs, and many other animals and birds. We already miss our coffee by the river as the sun comes up...it was perfect in every way.

Beautiful rooms and a very private, exclusive lodge. It felt like something from Hemmingway, with fireplaces for cooler evenings, but white tablecloths and excellent food/wines. The game drives were excellent and our guide was very knowledgeable. We saw a family of cheetahs chase and kill a deer, which was a highlight of the trip. One day it rained and the elephants (15 or so) came out to play and bathe in the pond below the lodge. Fantastic!

Top quality, Esme a pleasure to deal with. Delighted with our stay. Pool is very small but absolutely perfect other than that.

We stayed 4 nights and everything about the stay was an absolute dream, only made possible by the team at Ivory Wilderness. Each excursion felt unique and Shane and Warren are clearly so passionate and knowledgeable, making every sighting big or small an incredible experience. The location on the river is beautiful and very peaceful and meals were varied and delicious.

Gorgeous setting, with beautiful view! We loved the fireplace in the bedroom and the all-open space of the room. The proximity of the beach is a blast!

staff , food and interior were brilliant. all staff were amazing, too many to mention, but Ryan and Halif made our stay extra special. the food was outstanding.

Wow! What a place. Ambience, location, people and rooms. Everything is amazing so far. Had we knew, we would have stayed more days.

When the weather allowed, we had breakfast outside. The beautiful gardens against the backdrop of the mountains made it even more special. The buffet left nothing to be desired. And the staff were very friendly -- when we left, we felt like famlily.
