The whole experience was magical, and one we will remember for the rest of our lives. We were blown away by the efforts made by Danielle in hosting us, from the amazing home cooked food in such a beautiful setting to making sure we had clean rooms, new towels, and made beds to return to every morning. As for the safari, it is difficult to find the words to describe how amazing this was. We really appreciated JP sharing his experiences and knowledge of the animals and his patience in answering our many questions. There is nothing like seeing an elephant with its baby walk right past you or a lion so full after a kill that it can barely move. In the end, we saw zebras, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, impala, rare wild dogs, and many other animals and birds. We already miss our coffee by the river as the sun comes up...it was perfect in every way.

The villa was stunning and the scenery just amazing! The villas were serviced every day and to an exceptional standard. The high street was a 20min walk so it was still central. Esme and the team were very diligent and responsive. The pictures matched the villa 100%.

One of the best hotels we stayed in South Africa. Wonderful place, beautiful territory, warm stuff, tasty food, hot tube (!) near the water, stunning view and no people. Hotel was fully booked but we saw almost no other guests. Even in winter it was warm in the room. Room is fully equipped. You will find everything you need. We fully relaxed here. Room was cleaned twice a day. Welcome snacks and drinks in the room were very tasty. You feel like they waited for you, like you are really welcome here. I can recommend this lovely place to everyone, you won't regret.

This is a high-quality small boutique hotel with exceptional decor and art of the region close to some great restaurants.

The beautiful view from our family room, the wonderful breakfast, the friendliness of the staff, the garden, the location away from touristy waterfront.

Everything was perfect. The boat trip was a plus. We were given an upgrade and stayed in a huge bedroom I front of the lake. The staff and Sandy made all the efforts for us to have the best experience during our short stay.
