The staff was impeccable, exceedingly welcoming, and very helpful. I needed help booking some tickets, and the lovely lady at the reception patiently assisted me. At night, I had dinner in their restaurant. Ok so the food could have been better; my fish was well cooked but the veggies were greasy. The pizza looked excellent though, but the service was excellent. The next morning, I had complimentary coffee, which was very good and went up to the sauna. They normally begin the sauna at 12 but they put it on especially for me. The sauna and yoga room is lovely, very restful and equipped with everything one needs. I loved everything about this hotel, the design, the calm, the service. Location is subjective. It was my first time in Zurich so I was not too sure whether I wanted to stay in the city center and although the hotel is easily accessible into town, you might end up paying slightly more for transportation. All in all though, this is truly a lovely hotel and I will stay there again if the opportunity came up.

Well located hotel in central Old Town with lively cafes and bars close by. Noise not an issue with windows closed. Immaculately clean room with comfortable bed and excellent shower/bath. Well appointed room with amenities. Reception staff friendly and very helpful with usual tourist queries and this was most appreciated. Enjoyed a lovely dinner in the clearly popular restaurant at the hotel and breakfast offered was very good. Bonus to have your choice of complimentary coffee or tea made for you at breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Hotel Adler and would highly recommend it to family and friends.

We recently stayed at the Plattenhof with our 7 month old son. The hotel was cute and quirky with lovely staff members who made us feel very welcome. They provided a cot free of charge and there was a high chair available for us to use in the restaurant. Breakfast was good and there was a range of options and coffee was available to make yourself or order from the team. There were also lots of baby appropriate foods available at breakfast. The hotel provided a list of activities to do and sights to see which was great and really helpful. The location was great and walking distance to the city center and there was also a tram stop just down the road which also went straight to the city.

The Hotel Krone Unterstrass enjoys a quiet location in the centre of Zurich, a short tram ride from the main train station. It offers you air-conditioned rooms and free WiFi.
