The hotel was amazing! Immaculately clean, our room was very big, with attention to the last detail with very comfortable beds and spectacular views! We had dinner at the hotel restaurant, and everything was local and delicious. So was the breakfast! The stuff was very friendly, pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel in gorgeous location. We were upgraded to a junior suite. Spa facilities were excellent. Staff very friendly. We had the 4 course evening set menu, which was superb for me having the fish option and my wife having the vegetarian option. The wine accompaniment for my meal was great too, with local wines being paired with each dish. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, such a pity that we were only staying one night. Love to come back and explore the beautiful village of Traben-Trarbach.

Very nice breakfast and a lovely room with a view over Wittlich. Dinner was very tasteful but price/quality is rather high. Try also some restaurants in Wittlich, it's only a 6 min drive to the center and there are nice restaurants where you pay less for a good dinner. We enjoyed the walk (about 9km) through the woods that starts directly at the hotel with some relaxation in the spa afterwards. Location is central between Trier and Cochem close to the highway so you can easily reach Trier, Cochem, Bernkastel,the Moselle region within 30-40 min drives.

Quiet, nature, relaxation - the recreational value of the idyllic location in the national park was already recognized at the beginning of the last century.
