I stayed just one night, but in some ways it felt longer because it was so restorative. The setting in the Sussex downs is idyllic and peaceful. All stress melted away within minutes of arriving. In the house there is so much to take in - an eclectic mix of surrealist art, 18th century tapestries, contemporary crafts. My room was comfortable and quiet - I slept incredibly well and woke up to birdsong. Dinner and breakfast were simple and delicious, using local produce. The staff throughout were welcoming and helpful, encouraging me to explore the house, gardens and grounds. Thank you.

We had a lovely stay at Millers House, the owner was very kind! All the facilities were perfect, bed was beyond comfortable. We felt very secure as it is a closed gate community. We couldn't hear any noises from the road or trains. The location is super convenient, next to the train station and the village center. The room was spotless! We will definitely come back!

Since it is a pub, there is this nice atmosphere so it didn't feel like some deserted Holiday whatever inn hotel. The food was unexpectedly high quality for it just being a pub. It was great and you don't need my word for it, because on a normal week day, during dinner, it was suddenly absolutely packed with people. The room was huge, the bathroom was huge and everything was decorated with tastefull antiques.

The hosts were super lovely, kind and generous. They went out of their way to help. My room had more than everything İ needed. İt was spotless and very welcom8ng, as was the whole place.

The Old Railway Station in Petworth provides adults-only accommodation with a garden and a bar. The 4-star bed and breakfast has garden views and is 15 km from Goodwood Racecourse.

Quirky and in a carriage, unique experience. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Parking was good. Mobile signal on O2 and Vodafone working even at 4G! and much much better than reviews suggest.

The Hampshire Hog offers beautiful rooms, delicious local food and Fuller's award-winning ales all just a few miles from Portsmouth.

Very easy checkin. Friendly staff. Super pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. A really excellent breakfast. I like the location. It is easy to find, there is plenty of parking and Hayling Island is a pleasant place for walking and bike riding.
