The room size was fantastic with great decor. The location for breakfast is excellent and the options seemed unlimited. The location is right in the middle of everything.

A very elegant hotel, undoubtedly, although we are glad that we spent only one night there, because the luxury and modernity of another 5 star hotel in Dublin we stayed the second night also made a huge impression on us, it's up to you what you like, if you prefer a noble hotel or more modern but definitely the Merrion will be one of our favorites in Dublin. The building is very noble, inside there is a beautiful garden that delights in summer, and in winter it is simply there, the staff took great care of us, the room was very comfortable, the bed too.

Dont judge a book by its cover - Unassuming from outside, could walk pass it and miss it, luxury on the inside. Room was nice. Quiet. central riverside location. Was a bit pricey for one night but thats Dublin. Had a well stocked mini bar fridge which was great as many other modern hotels in Ireland don’t have minibar. also room provided copious amounts of luxury teas. Desk setup looked great for a business traveller, even though only travelled for leisure. would stay again.

Just off O'Connell Street, Academy Plaza Hotel is a 5-minute walk from Connolly Train Station. The hotel boasts stylish, air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, an on-site restaurant.

Special location! Equipment according to the classification of the hotel. Very comfortable beds. Hearty breakfast. A little harder to get to Dublin, if that was the purpose of the vacation.

Spacious room , variety of food for breakfast and very strategic location. Friendly staffs especially at the reception and restaurant. Near to train station , dart and bus station. Food was very good and polite staffs.

Couldn't have been happier with this accommodation - besides being a great location (we walked everywhere), it was clean, spacious and comfortable with great attention to the little details, from the coffee pods provided for the coffee machine (“just ask for more if you need”), the sugar, and milk in the fridge, to the instructions for all the appliances, as well as having a coffee/tea area at reception. Mattresses were great (never a given). Our incoming flight had a 3-hour delay so I messaged the property and got clear information back immediately for self-check-in. When I booked, I wasn't sure if the rooms would be noisy as the property is on a main road (And living in the country with just birdsong, we are easily disturbed!), but I'm delighted to say we weren't aware of any road noise. Finally, as others have written, the aircoach 700 Dublin aiport shuttle stops right outside the apartments so getting to and from the airport was a breeze!
