We lived in a separate building with a view of Piazza della Repubblica. There was a kitchen and possibility to have tea or coffee. Very good isolation, so though tourists in a square were noisy, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was in a separate building with a nice view of the city (7'th floor).

Difficult to imagine a better location in Florence, but beside this quite objective fact we were very satisfied by how well were were taken care of, starting with the car valet service, the reception at the hotel or the helpfulness regarding e.g. suggestions for restaurants. the hotel does not offer breakfast but for 14 EUR you get a voucher for the impressive buffet at the bargello restaurant just downstairs (believe me, it`s worth it, both for the quality of the food and the personnel)

This is the best hotel I have stayed in during my trip to Europe. The room is large and comfortable, and has its own style. The staff is very kind and prepared a travel map for us. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. I will choose to stay here again next time.
