We enjoyed having breakfast outdoors on the terrace. All of the staff were very helpful and provided us with information regarding sightseeing trips along the coast and also for local restaurants. For the ferry trip to Cinque Terre we were advised to get the train from Rapallo to Monterosso and get the ferry from there straight to Porto Venere and on the return from Porto Venere you can hop on and off to visit Cinque Terre towns. It's worth noting that the ferry had to be paid cash. The hotel was a 15 minute walk from the centre of Rapallo.

Hotel L’Approdo, set between Rapallo and Santa Margherita Ligure, enjoys beautiful views of the Tigullio Gulf. Accommodation here is modern, fresh, and a short walk from the beach.

Best place to stay in Camogli! Location is perfect - right on the harbour which is nice and quiet but just 3 minutes walk from the beach! Almost everything is perfect here from reception area, receptionists, staff, breakfast, bedroom, bathroom, towels & toiletries, etc...Location is also ideal, short walking distance to train station, bus or ferry to Portofino, and to the old town of Santa....and the rate in late October was very reasonable.
