We had an absolutely wonderful stay at B&B Dei Papi — truly one of the best experiences we’ve had in our travels. We always look for authentic, less touristy places that still offer high-quality service and real comfort, and this charming boutique property exceeded our expectations. The historic 13th-century residence has been beautifully restored, keeping its original character while offering all modern comforts. Our room was impeccably clean, extremely comfortable, and perfectly equipped. The beds were outstanding. Breakfast was exceptional, with delicious local products and great attention to presentation. What truly made our stay special were the hosts. They were always present, attentive, and remarkably thoughtful — often anticipating our needs before we even mentioned them. From offering the right type of glasses to preparing gluten-free options without being asked, everything was done with genuine care and elegance. This place is not just beautiful; it is run with heart, refinement, and a natural sense of hospitality. Our experience was not just a 10, but a 10+. We would return without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for authenticity, comfort, and impeccable service.

The hospitality and the cleanliness of the place exceeded our expectations. The rooms were just like in the photos, and the vibe felt better in real life. The room, the towels, the beddings, everything was properly clean. Even though the communication was somewhat limited due to language barrier, the hosts were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was decent. I would definitely stay here again, and surely recommend.

Fabulous historic property beautifully furnished. Giulia was proactive getting in touch and booked me a restaurant in the evening. Lavish breakfast. Very welcoming and relaxing place to stay as a solo traveller.

The position is fantastic, right in the centre, once you have parked your car in the garage, you can visit the whole historic centre on foot. Palazzo Riario is a very old building, 16th century, I think, but it was very comfortable, warm, we were there in November, full of character. Senor Renato was incredibly helpful with directions, helping with luggage, taking care of the car etc. The breakfast was very good, typically Italian with fresh cornetti , crostata , ciambellone and yogurt etc., the coffe is very good , we didn't go hungry. We also suggest going to Renato's Restaurant, excellent!!!
