We stay there 3 nights and it was amazing experience. All the staff was very kind, always taking care of all the details, it was our honeymoon and they give us a cake for dessert on our first meal. Our flight arrived in the middle of the night and we arrived at the hotel at 5:00AM and they prepare our room and allow us to do the check in earlier. It was super comfortable. Excellent breakfast, with a large choice. Location is perfect, on a lake with a crocodile...Heidi. Very nice restaurant, lovely barbecue. Buildings made by an excellent architect and on top of that, ecological. They offer their own vegetables and fruits. Butler service: we very much liked our butler, thank you very much Ruwan!

The surroundings are genuinely unique. It was the first time I was in a hotel and I opened the door of my room and I was able to see monkeys, peacocks and squirrels. This along with the warmth of the staff (including receptionists, yoga masters, doctor and massage therapists) makes it a experience I will always remember

Beautiful place. Isolated from the town but the location is beautiful. You can ride bike around the rice field and lake. If you’re lucky see an elephant. The woman at the elephant centre was very nice and we learnt a lot! I am glad we stop for a chat. The diner experience was amazing! We booked the traditional diner with 27 dishes cooked traditionally in clay pot and open fire. I recommend this hotel!

Fantastic stay, we decided to add an additional night we enjoyed ourselves so much. The hotel manager/owner? Nimal was superb, he made us feel welcome and was available 24/7. We had some issues with a scooter we rented and he came with his team to where we were stranded to resolve. The whole team went above and beyond for us. Out of all rge locations we stayed in Sri Lanka, the food here topped the list. Absolutely delicious and fresh from their garden, be sure to ask for a tour! A great place to end the trip

Everything - the concept and design was brilliant. The rooms were exquisite and comfortable :) The staff and food was above and beyond; true magic. it really leveled up the whole experience. Plus the surroundings were so lush and peaceful, it was so easy to unwind. If you are more up for cultural indulgence, the access to heritage sights was so easy to organize with the team.

With its sprawling grounds and natural environment, a quiet escape awaits guests at Sigiriana Resort by Thilanka. It offers an outdoor pool.

The pool is very nice. The staff were really helpful and organised transport when requested. The food was very tasty with lots of selections. Would highly recommend this hotel.
