The location could not be better. The hotel is located on the main plaza where almost everything happens. The real highlight, however, is the staff. They were all friendly and extremely helpful, especially the young woman who supervises the reservations in 1850 and their sister hotel Sterling. My wife and I highly recommend Boutique Hotel 1850.

Hostal Casa de Dante is a real pearl in Guanajuato, the house is very authentic like a small labyrinth of stairs and rooms. Doña Irene who runs the hostel is like a mum and takes care of her guests with dedication. The breakfasts are wonderful! Thank you very much for everything!

Beautiful old building in the heart of the city. Really felt like you were stepping back in time. High ceilings, spacious rooms with shutter board windows looking out over the winding streets. You leave the hotel and you’re right in the action. Morning breakfast was light and basic but perfect. Coffee, yoghurt, pastries. We looked forward to coming down and having a relaxing start to the day. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Answered all our questions on WhatsApp. I also left my headphones on check out. They got in contact straight away so we could go collect!
