This is a lovely hotel. It is a small hotel in an old mansion house. Both the rooms and the common rooms feel rich and luxurious. The staff are super friendly. Especially Catarina, who helped us decide what we should visit in Sintra. And there is a lot to visit! The hotel in in a superb location only 10 min walk from the impressive National Palace. I would definitely recommend Chalet Saudade and I hope to visit again one day.

Great location. Our room was perfect for us. Staff were lovely so friendly and helpful, especially the young lady at reception who went out of her way to help us (I’m sorry I didn’t get her name, but I think she will know who I mean) I would definitely stay again.

The breakfast! Couldn’t have been better! What more would we want than a choice of the full breakfast menu - as much as you wanted. The gardens, restaurant and library with the TV to watch soccer when our walking was done. Above all, the staff.
