We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner was welcoming us at the gate and we parked inside the property. The room was very clean, amazing and spacy and had an unique shape with a view in the backyard (was more a botanical garden with little ponds and tropical plants. Gerda helped us with information about the KNP and routes we can travel. Breakfast (fruits, beacon eggs, cereals, etc.) was served on a terrasse with a view on the landscape. Immaculately clean,peaceful and relaxing place. Rooms are quiet ,spacious and ensure a restful nights sleep. The standard of food on offer at breakfast was very good. Quality ingredients including bean to cup coffee machine,cooked options, fruit salad ,yoghurt,meats cheese assorted quality breads etc etc. Every afternoon Margrit makes a delicious home made cake- what a treat! There are lots of areas in the beautiful garden to sit and relax and the immaculately clean infinity pool is perfect. Margrit is very knowledgable about the area and can offer good advice on activities,routes and places to eat. Ideally situated to explore Panoramic Route,Blyde River Canyon and short drive to Phabeni Gate Kruger Park. There is a well stocked honesty bar too. All in all a perfect stay and one of our favourite stops on the trip so far. Highly recommended and hopefully we will return in the not too distant future.
