We were lucky to get a last minute booking here and we couldn’t fault our one night stay. From our arrival at the reception, the porter Sunshine’s friendly helpful service taking us to our beautiful accommodation, the plentiful supply of logs for the fire in our room, wonderful bath and toiletries and the delicious food both at dinner and breakfast the next day. The coffee at breakfast was the best hotel coffee I’ve had in a long time. The only disappointment was that due to load shedding we couldn’t use the spa facilities during our afternoon but I had a wonderful time using the pool , sauna etc the next day before walking back through the beautiful gardens before sadly having to say goodbye. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

An absolutely wonderful breakfast. Many fresh and cooked options. Hosts and all staff were so warm and welcoming and went out of their way to assist us with anything we required. Sitting down for breakfast and being looked after by Memory was like waking up to a big warm hug!

This former power station is located in Knysna and offers sunny suites with an iPod docking station and views of the Knysna Lagoon. The spacious sun deck comes with an outdoor pool.

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Old school charm and ambiance. Lovely views from the veranda. Rooms were large and comfortable. Excellent and helpful staff. We enjoyed the two dinners we had in the hotel. Also ate in harbour area - The Dry Dock restaurant which was excellent but suggest you book in advance.

We stayed here in mid November 2024 after searching Google Maps for cheap B&B accommodation. We came to Orange Inn with low expectations but were amazed to find a sparkling, almost-new, modern hotel with (I think) five or six rooms. Our room (Falcon) was fully outfitted, and even had a safe in the closet. In most places we stayed, we couldn't get the TV to work but here, the TV not only worked but included a good selection of global channels (so most overseas visitors can keep up to date with events back home). The staff (a manager and two girls) couldn't be faulted for their friendly approach and helpfulness, and I'd like to give Rose a mention in particular — her warm smile and gentle humour made us feel welcome immediately. Breakfast was excellent, and with a wide variety. I recommend the omelette, while my wife was delighted to be offered poached eggs. Well done, girls! You looked after us beautifully and we were sorry to have to move on.

The guesthouse really is super cozy, beautifully situated on the lagoon, everything you need is there, even to cook on site if you want to. The view is breathtaking. And above all: Robert is the nicest host you can imagine, he is super responsive and meets every wish.
