We were lucky to get a last minute booking here and we couldn’t fault our one night stay. From our arrival at the reception, the porter Sunshine’s friendly helpful service taking us to our beautiful accommodation, the plentiful supply of logs for the fire in our room, wonderful bath and toiletries and the delicious food both at dinner and breakfast the next day. The coffee at breakfast was the best hotel coffee I’ve had in a long time. The only disappointment was that due to load shedding we couldn’t use the spa facilities during our afternoon but I had a wonderful time using the pool , sauna etc the next day before walking back through the beautiful gardens before sadly having to say goodbye. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

There is only one word "Outstanding". We can't better describe. From arrival to departure everything was perfect. We were also very lucky to get an upgrade to the Captains Suite. A special thank to Joe and Patty, a more friendly and obliging service couldn't be offered! If it weren't so far, we would definitely come back again and again. Also thank you to Wayne, your House is Perfect!

Absolutely everything to like about this hotel. The location on Thesen Island the views, the friendly smiling staff and their willingness to assist in any way. Quite location but with everything on hand. Not just a mini bar but a well equipped kitchenette and a nice touch with a fresh lemon on the chopping board. Just perfect. Even the loo had a view!

Falcons View Manor is situated on a hill overlooking Knysna Lagoon, 700 metres from the town centre. It features an outdoor pool, a library and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Commanding elevated view of Knysna from the hotel. Room was large, extremely clean and comfortable. No issues at all with load shedding as the hotel had an alternative back up power supply. Hotel also has an interesting history having previously been owned by the Thesen family. Quality of service and food in the restaurant for breakfasts and high end evening meals was excellent. Both managers at the hotel, namely Danelle and Sue, are first class as were all the staff at the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and peaceful break. The hotel gardens are also beautifully well maintained.

Situated less than 1 km from Knysna Lagoon, this 4-star family-run guest house offers tranquil accommodation on the Garden Route. It has an outdoor swimming pool and sun lounging area.

This is a unique find - a room furnished with taste and restraint, but also pragmatism. The stunning setting of Two Angels - a plunging view down through layers of architecture and greenery straight onto the lagoon - is reminiscent of Lake Como. But the dreamy ambiance is supported by a very comfortable and well-planned guest environment, full of little touches (great beds, spotlessly clean linen, an iron), that make it easy to do a day’s sightseeing. The kayaks were an extra touch, which we greatly appreciated. The glory of this place, however, remains its unique setting, as well as the ability to walk down straight into the lagoon and go swimming. Service was friendly and unobtrusive.
