Everything about this location is exceptional! Starting with the staff who were extremely nice and helpful with a great spirit and joy, amenities and facilities, gourmet food, the Feuerbar which organized on the Easter week-end an amazing BBQ. Spa facilities were great and with high services and treatments. You could feel that this business is run with the love for the team, property and customers!

Excellent hotel with friendly staff, the facilities were fabulous, spar treatments excellent. Lots of areas to sit and enjoy views and relax in comfy seating. My room was very comfortable and more spacious than I was expecting. The hotel has a warm and friendly ambiance and I would without hesitation stay again.

Dating back to 1838, Villa Solitude is situated next to the casino in the centre of Bad Gastein. It offers elegantly furnished accommodation with wooden floors and antique furniture.

Breakfast at Villa Solitude cost more than the actual accommodation stay !! It was a complete rip-off the prices they were charging.

It is an excellent place to take the vacation! I haven't felt this welcome and relaxed in a very long time! It has perfect location, the terraces with views are providing a lot great and comfortable places to relax and the extra bonus in form of small "jause" with tasty soup, home made bread and cakes was just topping the amazing experience! Thank you for great stay, it was very enjoyable!

Great room - large with traditional period furniture and view down the valley. Powerful and hot shower. Food was great. The hotel is located close enough to the lift to walk (ski equipment left in locker by lift). The walk is interesting as there are little cafes and shops on route and the views are amazing. There is also a mini bus which runs to and from the lift, which we tended to catch in the morning but we enjoyed the walk back every afternoon. Google Maps suggests the walk takes 33 minutes but it's more like 20 minutes, although some steep uphill bits on the way there.

Hosts are super pleasant. 2 mins by foot to ski bus and just 2 stops to the central Schlosalmbahn station. 500 m to the two big supermarkets. 700 m to the town center. Apartment is very comfortable. Kitchen has everything you may need. Perfect big and well equipped ski room where you can leave all your ski stuff and enjoy warm dry ski boots in the morning:) It was a wonderful stay! Thank you!

Great location - apart from the city noises, but approx. 300 m away from the downtown. Amazing view on the mountains and fully equipped, cozy apartment makes you wanna stay even longer - thank You for hosting us - we will be back!
