The house is very cozy and comfortable, with beautiful, peaceful surroundings. The owners were so kind and welcoming, which made our stay even more special. We would love to come back!

The hotel stands alone in a beautiful natural spot, with an easy 5 min ferry ride to St Gilgen. There are lots of hiking and swimming spots. The boat provides easy access to St Wolfgang and Strobl. The restaurant is relaxed but excellent quality and very popular with locals. Booking is recommended. Every night we were delighted to eat the delicious specials. Breakfast was simply amazing, the chefs are superb! The staff were hard working and incredibly friendly.

The hotel is beautifully and centrally located with a view over Wolfgangsee. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The host is very welcoming and gave us great suggestions for activities. We really liked the atmosphere at the hotel too — it felt very homely and personal, unlike big chain hotels. We also really enjoyed the private lakeside garden, which was a perfect spot for sunbathing and taking a refreshing dip in the lake.

Located in a quiet bay right at the shore of Lake Wolfgang, the 4-star superior Cortisen is the first boutique hotel in the Salzkammergut region. Wi-Fi access is available free of charge. Management and staff super friendly, made us feel at home once we entered the lobby. They did everything they could to help and advise. Great 25m indoor pool and spacious gym. Very nice dining room with great breakfast.

The Hotel Weisser Hirsch is an oasis of relaxation in the heart of St. Wolfgang, directly on the shores of Lake Wolfgang. It offers a private lake access and free Wi-Fi. Excellent Hotel - Great Food, Great Location and very clean upgraded facilities with a great staff. The hotel is right by the water and exceeded our expectations !

Free WiFi, an indoor swimming pool, a steam bath, and a sauna is provided at Dormio Resort Obertraun, 300 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. Nice place to stay near to hallstat. Everything was good and we enjoyed staying here.

Το Pension Bergfried βρίσκεται στο Χάλστατ, σε απόσταση 150μ. από την όχθη της Λίμνης Χάλστατ. Προσφέρει δωμάτια με λειτουργική επίπλωση, κάποια εκ των οποίων έχουν μπαλκόνι. One of the best decisions we made for our Hallstatt-visit, was booking accommodation at Pension Bergfried. It is located at Hallstatt-Lane, just out of the busy part of the village, but close enough to stroll everywhere - even walking from the ferry-harbour with all of our luggage was not that difficult! The reception-staff were very welcoming and friendly and Anke, our host, super - what a fine lady! Our room (see note below), was bright and clean, decorated minimalistic (which I prefer) but tasteful. Bedding and linen perfect and crisp. The breakfast served in a beautiful spacious dining-room, was superb! Would love to come back one day, or if not, recommend it strongly to stay here.
