Set on over 140 acres of native forest and boasting a private beach, Thala Beach Nature Reserve is an Eco-friendly wildlife retreat. This resort was Heaven on Earth. The staff went above and beyond and they were all super nice. The views from the restaurant and bar overlooking the Coral Sea were astonishing and so was the food. The natural swimming pools were a delight as well, but what really stood out beside the staff were the tours for guests only. I loved them all: the Nature Walking Tour with Brett, the Star Gazing tour with Rose, the Coconut Odissey tour with Geff and also the cultural presentation about the Kuku Yalanji. There is also a private beach for guests only and it was lovely to walk around the property and spotting birds, butterflies, plants and all that nature has to offer. If one does not want to walk there is a buggy service taking you around the resort 24/7 and reception is also open 24/7. There is even a Turtle Lookout to spot seaturtles. The bungalows with their porches overlooking either the sea or the forest were stunning and what I loved the most about this place was how the resort was the background of the surrounding nature and not the other way around.

Paradise Links Resort Port Douglas, is ideally located to explore the Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest. Guests enjoy 2 lagoon-style swimming pools, a tennis court and free WiFi. The area is very beautiful. There is a heated pool, bbq area, it's a gated property so it feels very safe. The rooms were spacious with a balcony, perfect.

Coral Beach Lodge & Backpackers is located 500 metres from 4-Mile Beach. The lodge offers free WiFi and air-conditioned rooms, featuring tropical gardens and an outdoor swimming pool. Such a nice outdoor area with a pool and lots of space to hang out. Also very stylish interior. It’s the perfect jungle hideaway, a real hidden gem. 2nd visit and totally loved it!

Habitación amplia, limpia y cómoda. Terraza. Buena atención del personal por mail, me facilitaron el late check-in fuera de horario de recepción. Muy buena ubicación en la calle principal de Port Douglas y a 5 minutos a pié del muelle.

Este motel, situado a solo 12 minutos a pie de la playa de la 6,4 km, es una joya escondida que ofrece piscina climatizada al aire libre y zona de barbacoa con asientos al aire libre y jardines... Muy bien ubicado. Limpio y muy amplia la habitación. Con cocina y utensilios. Excelente atención, muy cerca de la marina.

Comfy beds, lots of private indoor and outdoor space in the villas, and small extra details such as a free pool table, honour snack bar at the pool, and bath salts provided :)
