The hotel is situated in Gent, only 500 metres from the historical city centre. Extremely professional, cooperative and friendly staff, and the restaurant was very nice with delicious food. The room was so comfortable, and the location was excellent!

Cleythil is located outside Maldegem, a 20-minute drive from historic Bruges and 30 minutes' drive from Ghent and the North Sea beach. The garden offers views of the Drongengoed forests and fields. Absolutely everything. The hotel is located in tranquil surroundings with beautiful natural scenery. All rooms offer stunning views of the woods and meadows. The host and all staff are exceptionally polite and friendly. I was sorry not to have more time to enjoy that wonderful place.

This luxurious family-run hotel in the Patershol District of Ghent offers rooms in 2 historic buildings and benefits from a free heated swimming pool. Central location, great base to explore Gent from (especially during Gentse Feesten). The family room is a bit dark, but spacious and comfortable. Quiet enough to not be bothered by any street noise. The heated swimming pool was a nice bonus.

In the very edge of the old district(6 minutes by foot to the Christmas market), in a very quiet area. The house itself is a historical house renovated, but while keeping a very nice charm. Annik and Kristof were very welcoming and ensured our stay was great. I especially liked the saloon at the 1st floor where you could relax and wind down after a busy day

We booked the red suite and everything was perfect! The red mood is so cosy and well decorated. The bed is comfortable. Ideal for a lovely weekend as a couple.

The building itself is historic and absolutely charming. The rooms were spacious and clean and efficient. The bathroom was large and updated upstairs with a soaking tub. There was also a bathroom one floor below with a shower. It was nice to have access to two bathrooms for our party of 3. The breakfast was phenomenal in presentation and quality - like a 3-course meal. But the absolute best thing about this property was the charming hosts. They could not have been more accommodating, more delightful, and more helpful. Great convenient parking as well! Easy drive to fabulous Ghent - one of our favorite stops on this trip!
