Het Piccolo Hotel ligt op een rustige locatie, op 8 minuten lopen van het treinstation van Locarno en het centrum van de stad. First of all I would like to thank the couple working there for their help and especially for preparing the breakfast as a packed lunch for 2 days and the breakfast was made to my liking. The hotel staff are amazing the hotel is very comfortable. The breakfast was very good as well with wide variety of food.

Hotel Tamaro is gevestigd in een patriciërswoning uit de 18de eeuw. Het ligt aan de oevers van het Lago Maggiore in het centrum van Ascona. The hotel was really nice, the staff were super helpful & friendly. Location was great.

The Hotel&Hostel Montarina occupies a historic Villa built around 1860, only 200 metres from the Lugano train station. Very kind and helpful staff, they can communicate on "every" language. The hotel is located really close to the center and to the public traffic; train station/bus station. The buildings and the garden are really nice. The view is awesome. Within the facilities erything is clean and well maintained. The kitchen and lunch-room are well equiped and clean. They have fridge, oven, stove, microwave, kettle, kitchenette, etc. for shared use. The free parking lodge is a great advantage. For this price with this location, it was a great choice.

Situated on the lake promenade near the traffic-free centre of Lugano, Hotel Walter Au Lac offers you rooms with superb lake views. WiFi is free of charge. All air-conditioned rooms are renovated. The hotel is in a perfect location--right on the lake--for exploring Lugano. It's only a short walk from the train station, so it was exceptionally convenient. The staff at the reception desk were very helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast is served in a beautiful room overlooking the lake with a full range of choices for breakfast. You can't go wrong booking this hotel. If we return to Lugano, the Walter will be our #1 choice.
