All the staff at the hotel were very professional and polite. Rooms were clean, and staff members were accommodative of requests made to them. The hotel kindly upgraded our room upon arrival. Concierge was helpful, polite and courteous to assist us with our needs. Everyone from room service staff, to restaurant staff to front desk were all very helpful and attentive. We enjoyed our stay here very much. Location was excellent as there was a subway train station just across the hotel. There were food outlets just a short walk from the hotel. We had a very pleasant and memorable stay at the hotel. Will definitely stay in this hotel again when we visit Beijing the next time.

We had a truly pleasant stay at this beautiful Siheyuan in Beijing. The hotel itself is charming, with traditional Chinese decor that adds so much character and cultural depth to the experience. It offers a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, perfect for anyone looking to experience a more traditional side of Beijing. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—always ready to help with a smile. One standout feature was the free laundry service and the availability of food and beverages 24/7, which made our stay especially convenient. The food was fantastic! The zha jiang mian was absolutely delicious and breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty local dishes. It was a real treat to wake up to such an authentic spread each morning. They also had some lovely activities for kids, such as making cotton candy and feeding fish, which kept the little ones entertained and happy.

It’s in an interesting neighborhood, the Hutongs. One of the old and authentic area’s. Outside of the fancy and noisy city. The hotel has a beautiful inside courtyard where they play shadow art a few times per week. It’s so nice to experience this.

House in a well-preserved old residence, The Orchid Hotel, Beijing is located in the historic Hutong area in the heart of Beijing, a 12-minute walk from Houhai Lake, a popular area filled with various... No exaggeration in saying this was one of my best hotel stays ever. The staff and the extra mile to keep me happy, including offering a bag of pastries and a bottle of water due to my early check out. The room was super comfortable and fancy, with some free fruit on arrival. The location was awesome right in the hutong. I loved the bakery, bar, restaurant and breakfast. Too good!!
