Mompox is a super cute colonial-style city, and the hotel is a great example of this style. The building is very beautiful, with a nice courtyard and a swimming pool. The suite even has its own little garden with a private pool. The room is fully equipped with AC, fan, fast Wi-Fi, etc. The staff were very friendly, and prepared delicious arepas for breakfast. The location is ideal by the riverside, and close to some very nice terrace bars and restaurants.

Snorkelling trips to the Rosario Islands can be arranged and downtown Cartagena is 1 hour’s drive. The staff and service were exceptional, very warm and welcoming and made you feel like no ask was too big. The room was very clean, outdoor shower refreshing and beds were comfortable, the mosquito nets kept the mosquitoes out.

My room with a balcony was perfect for the afternoon tea or coffee (great coffee machine in the room) and people watching on the street. Bathroom had a nice cosmetic mirror - not always to find in other hotels. The staff is soo friendly.
