It’s the perfect place if you are looking for a relaxing getaway. 5 minutes drive from amazing beaches and Montezuma town and 30 minutes from Santa Teresa. The staff was so attentive and nice, suggesting great places to go and helping books tours and surfing lessons. We spent 4 nights and could have stayed one more week. Great breakfast too.

Hotel Makanda by the Sea, a luxurious adults-only retreat nestled in the lush tropical paradise of Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica. We enjoyed everything! Staff was great, kind and really helpful. The room, the hotel itself was gorgeous. We saw more animals in the hotel’s surrounding than in Manuel Antonio. Pool area chic and relaxing.

This hotel is located about 2 km from Quepos, 5 minutes’ drive from Manuel Antonio National Park. Its spacious suites have a kitchenette and jungle views, and there is an outdoor pool. Lovely boutique hotel, decorated with a lot of thought in common areas as well in the rooms. Two gorgeous pools, which are cleaned daily. Room are equipped with fridge, microwave and coffee maker and free coffee and popcorn. Everything is super clean. Delicious breakfast with different options to choose from. It’s obvious the hotel goes that extra for the guests. As a bonus one gets to enjoy the art gallery which serves as reception and two cute little bulldogs which love being petted. We liked it that much, we actually extended our stay by one night to relax and enjoy.

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and a restaurant, Hotel Tramonto is located in Playa Hermosa beach in Puntarenas. Free WiFi access in public areas and free private parking are offered. The room was a good size. The bed was incredibly comfortable; I slept really well. The bathroom was one of the best, most modern, and cleanest I have encountered on this trip, which included staying in 12 different hotels.

Offering an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre, Jaco Laguna Resort & Beach Club is located right in front of Jacó Beach. Free WiFi access is available. The location is good and right on the beach and close to some good bars and restaurants. The lady at the reception was very nice and moved us to a room on the 2nd floor when we were not happy with ours. Great Service!

Offering an infinity pool and free WiFi, El Faro Containers Beach Hotel is located in Manuel Antonio, about 100 meters walk from the beachfront and 50 from Manuel Antonio National Park. Exceptional in both the location so close to the park and the view is insane. Very impressed with a young man Stephen at the front desk must work long hours but a delight. Helped with tours, bookings and couldn't do enough. Spoke excellent English and was ultra professional to deal with. Meals and pool were also very good and Saturday night live music.
