I can not say enough good things about Casa 69 and Winston. We were supposed to stay there one night upon arrival to Costa Rica and had to cancel at the last minute because we didn't make our flight. Although at that point they could have charged us full fare, they gave us a full refund. Then we did stay there on our last night. I had fallen the day before and couldn't walk. Winston had our room ready by 11:00 and although I had crutches I couldn't use them on the few steps that they had. Winston practically lifted me up over them, taught me how to use the crutches and gave me so much positive vibes he was like my own personal Physical therapist. The room was comfy and breakfast is in a charming little courtyard. I will definitely recommend Casa 69 to my friends and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Thank you Winston!

Fantastic service, very clean, charming place with personality which makes you feel like you are in Costa Rica. A few hundred meters to a small center with a small supermarket and a handful of restaurants; we had Mexican which was nice. Solid breakfast included with fresh fruit, special made omelets, etc Our kid had birthday and the staff was so nice they had made a cake 🎂 which was a compliment from the house.

Good location to relax & recharge after long flight. Comfortable bed & pillows & nice sheets. Hot water shower. Good food & choice for breakfast. Food also available till 8pm. Club sandwich was excellent Staff were all friendly & helpful. Nice pool area with sunbeds, didn't use the pool but water was clean,at time of our stay, just a bit cold unless full sunshine to warm up after swimming. Would recommend

This stylish hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool and a conference center. Each spacious room includes free Wi-Fi. Was close enough to airport after a late arrival but allowed us to be closer to downtown to do some exploring before heading to Jaco.

Located in the centre of San José, Fleur de Lys offers individually decorated rooms set in a Victorian mansion. It features an attractive terrace, gardens and a restaurant. What an incredibly beautiful boutique hotel! Very close to Jade Museum, National Museum and parks a short walk (10+ minutes) to theatre and Gold Museum, markets. Lovely restaurants close by. Exceptional kindness from the front desk staff.

Featuring a rooftop swimming pool, Studio Hotel offers rooms with free high-speed WiFi and views of the surrounding Central Valley. The room was comfortable with good air-conditioning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Of course, the art was enjoyable to see.

It's easy to find and a short uber ride to everywhere we wanted to go. It was nice to have breakfast on the property so that we ddin't have to travel for food. Reallly liked the Indian restaurant across the street as well.
