The rooms at Hotel Volkschule are designed in a modern style, featuring cable TV and an en suite bathroom. Everything was great. The room, the breakfast, the shower the hospitality from the staff, the private parking and nearby public transport. We would definitely come back to this hotel again when visiting Hamburg. The decoration paying homage to the old school building also felt like a nice touch. They also had a bar downstairs you could use that seemed cozy, we didn't use it during our stay this time but would definitely do so next time.

The kitchenettes include a dishwasher and a Nespresso coffee machine, and luxury toiletries are provided. We got upgraded to deluxe duplex, which was a lovely surprise. We loved everything, the facilities, the neighbourhood, the closeness to city centre (everything is within walking distance). The underground parking (with 3 slots for charging e-vehicle) made the stay perfect. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time we are in Hamburg.

It’s very modern, beautifully designed, and spotlessly clean. The room was equipped with a small kitchen that had all the necessary supplies. The staff was very friendly and even let me check in a bit early since the room was already ready. I especially loved the area. I've stayed in other districts in Hamburg, but this one is by far my favorite. It’s a beautiful neighborhood with charming houses, lots of greenery, and the lake is just a 5–10 minute walk away. There are also plenty of nice cafés and supermarkets nearby. Highly recommend!

We’d prefer the same hotel again. Here are just two things - beds were too soft, at least for us. - there was a shop in the hotel for snacks but we were be happy if there was a restaurant option too Except these two we really love the hotel.
