The place! The house is a quiet spot a little bit above Oban. From my room i had a wonderful view over the bay. Also you could sit in the neighbouring sitting room wich is beautiful decorated with old special furniture. And i felt very welcome :-)

We had a lovely stay at Aspen Lodge. It is beautifully located, looking out over the mountains and only a ten minute drive from Oban. Caroll is a lovely host; she is attentive, friendly and she makes sure everything is in perfect condition. The rooms are well decorated, spacious and contain everything you might need. Breakfast is prepared to order and there are different options to choose from.

On the good side -
The staff try hard. The decor has obviously been somewhat refreshed and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast room was comfy (altho designating/naming the tables as per rooms was confusing). The main restaurant was spacious with great views of the loch. Plenty of parking. Quiet location.
