Situated on the picturesque Isle of Raasay, a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, Raasay House Hotel is nestled in a Georgian mansion with beautifully landscaped lawns. Boasting views across the Sound of Raasay to the Cuillin Mountains of Skye, the mansion offers luxury accommodation with free Wi-Fi, free parking, a bar, a café, and a restaurant. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was very welcoming and even upgraded our second room so we could stay next to each other. Our Deluxe Family rooms had a stunning view of the water and fields with grazing sheep. Dinner was delicious, and the interiors, especially the library, were truly impressive. Our stay was short but very pleasant — we would love to return and explore the island more.

On the Isle of Skye, Flodigarry Hotel and Flodigarry Restaurant offers accommodation in a country house sitting on a hill and offering sea views towards the Torridons and Scottish mainland. The hotel and 18th-century cottage are surrounded by ancient woodland and gardens on the Quiraing. Absolutely perfect in every way — from the breathtaking view to the property’s meticulous attention to detail, and the quality of the food both at dinner and at breakfast. The hotel’s greatest strength is without a doubt the exceptional kindness and care of the fantastic staff. I’ll be back!

A wide choice of freshly prepared dishes are served in the Dulse & Brose restaurant, including daily catches of seafood and shellfish, which come straight from the waters of the Minch to the plate within a matter of hours. Malt whiskies and fresh coffees can be enjoyed by the real fire in the stylish Merchant bar. This quaint hotel has been able to modernize itself but keeping the charm. Our room was lovely. We loved to attention to detail, I.e the coffee and tea station in the room was really good. For us the hotel was quiet, a big plus. Staff were all great and helpful. The breakfast was amazing.

In a picturesque bay in the south of Skye, this hotel has beautiful views over the Sound of Sleat and the distant hills of Knoydart. It is also home to the headquarters of the award-winning Gaelic Whisky company. The staff were very pleasant. The dear lady who checked us in(unfortunately forgot her name) was so pleasant. The place had no mobile network and that feeling of being cut off was great especially coming from a busy and bustling city like London. Everyone at the hotel were informal and the people around seemed warm and felt like a big family. I highly recommend to stay here for a day or two when on a trip to the Isle of Skye.

With spectacular views across Portree Harbour, Coolin View Guest House is situated in Portree centre. There is free parking and free WiFi.

Set in a grand 1920s building, the cosy bedrooms at Coolin View each have tea/coffee facilities and a TV. Rooms also feature a private bathroom, and most have views across the harbour or Coolin Hills. Booked this place for a tour of the Isle of Skye! Very comfortable accommodation and easy to walk into and around the town. The self check in process was very easy to follow and the room was clean and updated. Would definitely stay again!
