Highfield features great lake and mountain views and its own private car park. The beautiful rooms have en suite bathrooms and tea/coffee making facilities. Great breakfast, comfy bed, lovely home, nice touch with coffee & cake on our arrival sitting in their lounge overlooking the mountains - could not fault the place - staff excellent - highly recommend

Set in 14 acres of landscaped grounds next to Furness Abbey, Abbey House Hotel offers luxurious rooms with historic features. Guests can enjoy free WiFi and free on-site parking. Was nice but with limited options. Still it was manageable.

The Westbourne is a beautiful guest house set in the peaceful area below Biskey Howe in the Lake District. Bedrooms feature walk-in-shower rooms, luxurious toiletries and large fluffy towels. Great place, super location, superb beds, breakfast was excellent

With beautiful views of the Northern Fells, Ravenstone Lodge is 5 miles from Keswick, at the foot of Ullock Pike so you can relax in the conservatory or on the terrace and enjoy some of the best Lake... Location was amazing and great for exploring. Brett and Anthea were delightful and made us feel so welcome.. The food was amazing with hearty portions and the accommodation was quaint and cosy. The scenery is overwhelmingly beautiful. We were so blessed with the beautiful weather and took advantage of exploring Keswick and surrounds.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Spacious room, comfy bed, TV and wifi worked, chrome cast work, handy to all locations in Windermere, lovely breakfast, clean and tidy. Couldn't have asked for more excellent value for money!

Just 1 mile from Lake Windermere this beautiful Victorian house is set in a peaceful location between Windermere and Bowness. cosy and nice breakfast especially their smoked salmon and scrambled eggs

The guidebook in the room was very helpful and provided information about things to do in the Lake District area, by foot or car. I took a 45 minute walk around the nearby farm and enjoyed quiet, scenic views. The unit we stayed in consisted of a large living room, full kitchen, bedroom, and bath with shower and tub. We had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, both meals were scrumptious. There was a great vibe at dinner and it was clear that this is not just a spot for guests, but also popular with the locals. Parking was available just across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
