The modern apartments have been converted from a whisky-bond building and come fully equipped with a kitchen, free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Location was perfect!! The apartment is quite large.

I just really liked the vibe of the room, and their breakfast was in the next door restaurant, which was so much better than most hotel breakfasts.

Went above and beyond to make us comfortable and to accommodate me since I was traveling with medication that required cold storage. Room was beautiful and comfortable as well, in addition to being directly off a bus line!

This stylish boutique hotel, has the added touch of the owner’s ever-changing art collection and a dedicated Whisky bar, serving rare and unique scotch malt Whisky and adding a new chapter to Royal Terrace's history as "Whisky Row". Perhaps I was biased as I booked this property after a disappointing airbnb experience, but as soon as I arrived I felt very at home. I found the staff to be extremely friendly, approachable and welcoming. The property is in a perfect location, it's a beautiful Georgian property on a peaceful street (you have a park in front of the house, and gardens at the back) close to the city center. The design is quirky and unexpected, and I was very happy with my room, which had a beautiful view of the back garden. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend this place to my friends.

The Raeburn features modern design with attractive features including exposed stone walls, sash windows and tartan fabrics. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV, an iPod docking station, a minibar and tea and coffee-making facilities. The staff was absolutely outstanding. We were early to our check-in and the front desk took our bags. When the room was ready, our bags were already there. I just thought that was the nicest touch. The breakfast was so well priced for such quality and quantity. Everyone was so attentive and answered all of our random travel questions. I loved how close it was to Old Town with the hustle and bustle, but when we were ready to come back to a quieter part of the city, this place was just the perfect place to get comfy in the lounge for a snack and a dram. Truly, would not book anywhere else in Edinburgh!
