Nestled in the Chiltern Hills, just north of the River Thames as it winds through Buckinghamshire, The Stag and Huntsman is situated in the picturesque village of Hambleden. The village is beautiful. The food was very tasty. The staff was kind and friendly.

This historic former brewery boasts light and elegant rooms with rustic, original features and fine Egyptian linen. This place has had a serious re vamp . Having visited many times over the years there must be a recent change in management as the hotel has returned to its original superb level of hospitality. The staff are fantastic on every level and the rooms which have recently been refurbished are of a very high comfort level . Very good stay and highly recommended

Originally a 16th-century coaching inn, The Crown in Old Amersham offers dining, traditional hospitality and easy access to the M40, M25, M1 and M4. Free parking and Wi-Fi is available on-site. The room was spacious and beautiful. The bed super comfortable and the staff friendly and cheerful.

The Pennyfarthing is an independent hotel in the centre of Berkhamsted, just 6 minutes’ walk from Berkhamsted Railway Station. it's very central. perfect parking. can walk everywhere. lovely place.
