Cotommatae Hydra 1810 is housed in a 19th century mansion, only 200 metres from Hydra Port and the seafront with several restaurants and bars. Surrounded by a garden with a stone-paved courtyard, it offers traditional accommodation with free Wi-Fi. Very nice place and staff were incredible.

Originally a wealthy sea captain’s mansion built in 1810, the Hotel Miranda is a fine example of characteristic local architecture. It is located 250 metres from the port and 500 metres from Ydra’s main beach. Very friendly and polite staff, always available to assist us! The cleanest hotel i have ever been, great smelling of sheets and towels. Delicious breakfast with a lot of variety and homemade snacks. They even allowed us to leave our luggages and have a shower after checking out. Highly recommended!!

The traditionally built Hydroussa Hotel Hydra is located on Votsi Square, surrounded by lovely lemon trees. Due to its unique architecture, Hydroussa Hotel has been used in the past as a location for Hollywood films. We loved the renovation of this original mansion in Hydra. Our room was very nice with lovely views of the village. Our stay was made even more comfortable and enjoyable by Nefele on front desk who was really personable and professional. Nefele made us feel special. Overall a great stay in Hydra and highly recommend.

A small selection of rooms and studios in this traditional, stone mansion allow for attention to detail and unsurpassed personalised service. On arrival we were welcomed by Nicholas who was extremely friendly and helpful. A great start to our stay. We were on the first floor and the room was a good size, the bed comfy, good wardrobe space, good air con, nice to have windows to open and let the sun in (even through the massive heat wave). The bathroom itself was small but did the job for our 5 night stay. The shower was a bit of a let down - very tight squeeze to get in and shut the doors (and we are average build). If we moved without thinking about this small space, we accidentally nudged the tap off or to the hot or cold side. Had to be super careful in that respect. The free breakfast was out of this world amazing, tasty, different every day, home cooked/made, abundant (got us through to the afternoon!). We looked forward to it every morning and ate 90 to 100% of it. Jenni was an amazing hostess who presented us with this breakfast daily and she tolerated my “5 to 6 cup coffee” husband with delightful dry humour! She always had a funny comment to make. Loved her! One of the house maids was super friendly and greeted us every time we saw her - sorry I didn’t get her name! Unlucky for us it was a heat wave the whole 5 days there so going back and forth from the city centre was quite the trek for this unfit oldish woman, but I achieved it 4 or 5 times a day, albeit puffed on arrival. On a cooler day it would be very pleasant. A thousand thank you’s Jenni, Nicholas and friendly housemaid - you made our stay in Hydra magical. Every air-conditioned room overlooks the alley and is equipped with a flat-screen TV. You will find a coffee machine and a kettle in the room. Rooms include a private bathroom equipped with a shower. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries. Everything! Perfect location, stunningly cute with wonderful little features, amazingly helpful owner (Christos) and an inspiring approach to guest service, such as allowing me to store my suitcase after checkout, before my ferry and making a shower available for guests to freshen up from one final swim before their ferry. Brilliant!

Located in Hydra, Attica region, Amaryllis Hotel is situated 3 km from Profitis Ilias Monastery. Each accommodation at the 1-star hotel has city views, and guests can enjoy access to a terrace. The accommodation provides room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Easy access from the port. Close to restaurants, cafes and shopping. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and clean. This is a lovely historical property, but the shower is a bit small and maynot be comfortable for a larger person.

Boasting magnificent views overlooking Hydra, the recently renovated Hotel Hydra is a turn-of-the-century building set in the heart of the island of Hydra. The nearest swimming area is a 5-minute walk away. We fell in love with the island and this charming boutique hotel. The view from the bed in the Junior Suite was insanely beautiful. The staff, especially the hostesses, was very friendly and helpful (extra grateful for the recommendations and care of Dafni). The breakfast was fine! The mattresses are hard, we liked it, but it comes to preference.
