You arrive in paradise: gorgeous Mediterranean villa surrounded by beautiful trees and flowers! The owner and staff are very welcoming. We spent time on the terrace where we also had a wonderful breakfast the next day. Our room was very spacious and clean with balcony overlooking the property and a window with a sea view. From the terrace you walk out on the private beach and can stroll for 10 min into the town center along the water. Everything about Villa Astra is perfect! We are very impressed! Would love to come back!

Beautifull view over cost, good breakfasf and comfortable bed. Great to have swiming pool during hot, sunny days. Long way to see and City center but thanks that you feel like you have it for your own, more privacy. Big plus for creation/ reconstruction this old, history place.

Completely renovated in 2020 and housed in an Austro-Hungarian villa dating back to 1886, this 5-star hotel is situated amid a well-groomed St. Jacob Park in the centre of Opatija. Everything was just wow! First of all, I really liked that the hotel is small and cozy. The staff is super attentive and just pleasant people you want to talk to. Breakfasts… that’s a whole other story — fantasy on the edge of a culinary fairy tale. Very tasty! 😋 The beach is literally two steps away. Although the hotel doesn’t have its own private beach, you can either lay out your stuff for free or rent sunbeds - 25 euros for two with an umbrella. And they’re so comfy that I seriously thought about buying one for home 😂 The bed is truly royal - both in length and height! I slept like a lion on a throne 😄 There’s also a nice park nearby - perfect for evening walks. I sat on a bench in the shade, opened a book, fresh air around, birds singing… Romantic! Just don’t forget mosquito spray to enjoy it fully. Definitely recommend! 🌟

Featuring a wellness & spa centre, the newly renovated Hotel Bellevue - Liburnia is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark. We liked everything from first minute of check-in to the last minute of check-out. Stuff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. The SPA was fantastic, we enjoyed a pool where we can swim during the hottest hours but most of all we liked Finish sauna. Also we enjoyed the treatments, facial and massages. The breakfast was excellent and starting day with prosecco felt luxurious. The room was not big but good size, AC worked properly, no problems with overheating. Location was fantastic, close to the beach and restaurants. We already decided to be back next year.

Hotel Astoria in Opatija was built in 1904 in the elegant Austro-Hungarian style, and after renovation in 2024, combining modern design and traditional spirit, it is offering beautifully equipped air... Location is excellent, near the sea and the Opatija center, We had sea view top floor suite and the view was stunning. We liked both breakfast and dinner. There was a lot of options to choose from for breakfast and dinner and everything was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the suite / sea view de luxe room on the top floor we got and all amenities for our dogs that were prepared in the room. Initially we booked de luxe sea view room for 2 but on the last moment our daughter decided to join us as well. We called the hotel late in the evening and Ms. Ana Turato, hotel´s Director of Sales helped us immediately and assured us we will get appropriate room. And she really arranged it perfectly. All associates across the hotel form the Front Desk to the Restaurant were very kind and helpful. We even got a small Valentine´s surprise in the room from the hotel on Friday. Thank you very much for everything.
