Located 900 metres from the centre of Lovran and just 20 metres from the nearest beach, Hotel Villa Astra is set in a quiet area, next to the 15-km long seaside promenade and consists of a main building and an annex. Buffet breakfast is available on site, as well as a Wellness Area. Free parking and free Wi-Fi are offered. A beautiful villa, dating from the early 1900’s, tastefully converted to a hotel by its owner, Vjecko Martinko. A feeling of wellness is evident in the property, directly on the famous Lungo Mare, a short distance from the old village of Lovran. A lovely breakfast each morning on the terrace sets the pattern of the day. The staff were are very friendly and Vjecko himself was present each day. It is only a few metres to swim in the crystal clear water of the Kvarner gulf, which we did several times each day, even in the rain.

Built in 1909 by a Viennese entrepreneur Anton Urm, this hotel has hosted numerous aristocratic guests, including the Austrian-Hungarian emperor Franz Joseph. It was rebuilt almost 80 years later, with attention to its original design and preserving a romantic atmosphere. Beautiful setting, exclusive in every way.

Completely renovated in 2020 and housed in an Austro-Hungarian villa dating back to 1886, this 5-star hotel is situated amid a well-groomed St. Jacob Park in the centre of Opatija. Free Wi-Fi access is available throughout the property and the Slatina Beach is just 100 metres away. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel itself was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make sure we felt cared for. From the friendly reception to the attentive service throughout our stay, they made us feel like valued guests from start to finish. We can’t recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning!

You can also benefit from the safes in the rooms and the 24-hour room service. A very nice hotel on a good location, the beach is only 2 minutes. It has a swimming pool. The friendliness of the staff is super. A real good breakfast. In fact everything was very good. A special thanks to the leady who runs the place she is so nice and willing to help she deserves a lot of credit.

Room modern and clean, view to die for.

Featuring a wellness & spa centre, the newly renovated Hotel Bellevue - by Liburnia Hotels & Villas is housed in a beautiful Empire-style building, as one of the oldest hotel it is considered a local landmark. Ideally set along the main street facing the sea, it offers free Wi-Fi and an à-la-carte restaurant. Great location, staff helpful and friendly. Room was large & loved the towel warmer in the bathroom. Large selections for breakfast. Our room balcony was a lovely relaxing spot to enjoy the view.
