In a quiet, residential location, the B&B is less than 10 minutes’ walk from Galway Cathedral. The breakfast was excellent. The host had us sign up for a time the night before and it was hot and ready the next morning. The hosts were friendly and accommodating.

The Waterfront Rest B&B is a beach-front property located on the peaceful Wild Atlantic Way in the heart of Connemara. Rooms overlook the beautiful water and free WiFi is available in public areas. The property is recommended by Le Guide du Routard. We loved our short stay, the hosts were very welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed sitting on their lawn enjoying the sunset watching the dolphins in the bay. An exception place to stay.

The Herons Rest Boutique was stunning and the perfect place for my family to stay in Galway. It is a wonderful location that was perfect to explore the city. Sorcha was more than helpful in answering any questions I had and was the most thoughtful and helpful host. It was our favourite stop on our trip of Ireland. The breakfast basket was a wonderful addition and there was an abundance of information about the property so everything was simple. It was absolutely wonderful and I would totally recommend.

The spacious rooms at the Waterfront feature TVs, work desks and seating areas. Rooms also include tea/coffee-making facilities, ironing equipment, large bathrooms and some rooms have Atlantic Ocean views. Staff especially Monica who helped me when attempting to cancel reservation at Maldron Hotel South Cork City. I tried hard to do it through Booking, Com. to no avail! The food was excellent, Pub was nice and the service staff were wonderful and location views were beautiful.
