Genuinely dont know where to start as - even before we reached the place - we realized the exceptional service that was awaiting us. Not only did they accept us even post the their normal check-in timings - Alex for genuinely concerned about us - which was visible as we arrived - which was much more than anyone could ask for, and John going 'Above and Beyond' to help us with some wonderful Dinner - I dont think I would be able to justify in words how exceptional their service was and for sure would Visit again - and recommend others too :) Alex and John - Can't thank you'll enough!

The Tween Decks provides fantastic, 17th-century nautical decor, and the Armada Bar is built from the salvaged, 400-year old wood of shipwrecked Spanish ships Soft 4-pole-bed in a big room! Exceptionally clean when you think of the amount of the heavy textiles used in the room. Great breakfast!

Overlooking Mount Knocknarea, the Strandhill Lodge and Suites Boutique Hotel are 10 minutes’ walk from sandy beaches and just 1-mile from Sligo Airport. Rooms have i-Pod docks and sea or countryside views. Great stay and made feel very welcome by the fantastic guys on reception. Great selection for breakfast. Room very spacious with a lovely sea view. 10 minutes from the beach. Restaurant/ bar next door. We decided to stay again a day later and were upgraded to a suite which made the weekend. Will definitely be back.
