The property is picture postcard perfect. Wonderful accommodating hosts with helpful local knowledge, and the most stunning gardens with views. Our only regret is that we did not allow ourselves more time to enjoy the property and the town of Trim. Also, it took us one hour of driving at peck time to drive to Dublin Airport drop off our rental and get to the terminal.

Homely feel, reminded me of staying with family in Ireland. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice, the hosts were really friendly.

The Ashbourne House Hotel is located a 15-minute drive from Dublin Airport and the beach at Balbriggan. It offers individually designed rooms, free parking and an award-winning fine-dining restaurant.... We had only one night in the Dublin area because of a change in our flight schedule. We decided to spend 12 hours at the Ashbourne House Hotel and we were very glad we did. There was a short and cheap bus ride to and from the airport to Ashbourne, or you can use Uber for around 50 euros. The town of Ashbourne is quiet and clean and the hotel is very nice. The food in the restaurant and the service in the bar are both excellent. We recommend this hotel highly.
