Located in Ein Kerem village, Alegra Boutique Hotel is 200 metres from the Church of the Visitation. It offers a sauna in its fruit orchard, and luxurious suites with exposed-stone walls. This hotel has been our home away from home in Jerusalem for years now, and it never disappoints! It's located in a quiet area, with a public (and free) parking lot just a couple of minutes on foot from the hotel; I'd suggest to have a car, because while there are a few restaurants nearby, if you want to go to Jerusalem city centre it's the best way. A big bonus of this hotel is the garden, an oasis of calm, beautiful in every season. The services and amenities are excellent and the staff goes out of their way to make guests feel home (thank you so much, we really feel part of the Alegra family!). Our favourite room is in the main building, with direct access to the garden (and when possible, the hotel accomodates our special request, like they did this time), but I can assure you that also the rooms in the building right opposite the street have the same beauty, unique style and another little garden (but guests are always welcome to come to the main building to enjoy the garden and the dining room/coffee corner). I highly recommend, at least one morning during your stay, to indulge in the rich, fresh and absolutely delicious breakfast (Israeli, with salad, bread, cheese, eggs, shakshuka... but you'll also find something if you prefer a sweet treat to start your day) - and the dining room is stunning and full of light, too!

The American Colony Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World presenta un ambiente apacible en la animada ciudad de Jerusalén y cuenta con piscina, restaurantes gourmet, jardines paisajistas y centro... Los pequeños detalles hacen que sea excepcional. Musica wn el baño, amenities, agua de bienvenida. El gimnasio es precioso y super completo. Cenamos alli y mereció muchísimo la pena. Servicio excepcional. Es un oasis dentro de Jerusalem.

The room was comfortable, clean and nice and the staff was great and helpful! The breakfast was amazing. Everything was exceptional! It was a very very nice stay and everything was great!
