Found 23 km east of Snæfellsnes National Park, this hotel offers bright, modern rooms with private bathrooms. WiFi and parking are free. Snæfellsjökull Volcano is within 20 minutes’ drive. A lonely place with an excellent restaurant and a historical ambience, good for exploring Snaefellsnes and the peninsula. Walking, hiking, a beautiful waterfall just across the valley, visible from the lounge, the ocean nearby, good for a trip watching northern lights and generally a very quiet and comfortable resting place. Very helpful staff.

This award-winning, eco-friendly hotel is on the Snæfellsnes peninsula, 6 km from Iceland’s famous Snæfellsjökull glacier and volcano. Had one stay here. What a beautiful area. Was extremely satisfied with the room -- the pillows were actually really good! The breakfast was phenomenal.
