Aretusa Vacanze is located in a completely renovated 17th-century building at the centre of Syracuse's Ortygia Island. It offers self-catering rooms. The bed and breakfast is in the heart of the historic center of Syracuse. The owner Stefano is a very charming young man who helped us with the luggage and parking. He arranged a private city tour for us and a restaurant for dinner. His entire family, parents and kids, work in this family business. The breakfast was great with a wide selection of sausages, croissants, eggs, bacon, coffee, etc. and was served on a roof terrace. There is an elevator in the building which is very helpful. Very easy communication with the owner. Would definitely recommend this property for your stay in Syracuse.

This is a gem in the heart of Ortigia with genuine Sicilian hospitality and warmth. Our room was very spacious (with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea) and very comfortable. The front desk staff (available 24-7) did everything to help us make the most of our stay from booking taxis, to private tour guides and suggestions for dining. They were available all the time to answer messages and help us make the most of our stay. The breakfast and staff were lovely and perfect to start the day. The terrace bar was a lovely way to wind down before heading out into Ortigia for the night. The hotel is located in the heart of tiny Ortigia steps from everywhere you need to be such as the Duomo or the seaside. Can't fault this place and it holds a special place in our hearts. Thank you Bernadette and Francesca for taking such good care of us. We ar looking forward to returning!

Το Il Salotto di Maria Pia είναι στο κέντρο του προορισμού Συρακούσες, κοντά σε Παραλία Cala Rossa, Castello Maniace και Tempio di Apollo. This is the most beautiful B&B imaginable, in the heart of gorgeous Ortigia. I don’t think it would be possible to find a more charming place with the loveliest host ever, excellent shower, comfortable bed, private balcony. It’s just dreamy and we will come back soon!

Fantastic palazzotype building at the duomo square! Room with balcony to ghe Duomo square. Great breakfast, large room. Grandeur being restored by the owner, who is upgrading the old building to a modern hotel. I appreciated the personal message with a link to a safe private (valet) parking nearby 200 m distance. (a must in the Syracuse old town centre)

It exceeded our expectations and made our marriage anniversary very special. It is like a little paradise close to Syracuse. Giusi and all the staff make you feel super welcome. We had to leave the hotel early twice during our stay, once very early to the airport and still then they made sure we had packed breakfast. The breakfast is just divine and every day there has been a new selection of Italian cuisine. If you want a relaxing retreat this is a place to go, it is a truly remarkable place and we highly recommend it. Thank you so much Giusi and all for our great holiday there with our family. Service, location, rooms, food - absolutely everything was great. Thank you very much! This is the place to stay in Ortigia.

This boutique hotel is in the centre of Ortigia, near Piazza Duomo. It is set in a historic building with high ceilings and stone walls. Each of the 6 rooms is spacious and unique. Beautiful Ortigia! The hosts were all very accommodating and most helpful. Perfect location to shops and restaurants. Beautiful boutique hotel. Thank you for making our stay memorable.

Palazzo Artemide - VRetreats is in the heart of Ortigia Island, next to the Cathedral. It offers free lobby Wi-Fi and modern, air-conditioned rooms. Great location , wonderful room

The property is situated on the sea with beautiful vistas from our balcony and the roof top terrace. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic. Sabrina and her sister Claudia were very accommodating, helpful and hospitable and added to the warmth and relaxed atmosphere. The property is a 25 minute walk to Agrigento and the archeological park.
