Superb location, friendly staff and excellent breakfast. Stunning view from the 5th floor apartment. Washing machine and kitchen equipment in a hotel like setting was really great. If there was a swimming pool for kids, we'd stay for much longer :) We had a lot of bags and we were allowed to use hotel reserved parking to unpack for a little longer than 30 minutes. Nearby public parking is quite convenient.

This is a comfortable , charming and exceptional B&B . Everything was great from the friendly and helpful welcome , to the excellent breakfast, parking and information and bus tickets to help us travel to the centre of Trieste and negotiate the city. Follow the directions sent to find the BnB when arriving by car, as it can be a little challenging otherwise. The Wifi is really good too and so is the air conditioning! El House 5 está situado en el centro de Trieste, junto a un parque público. Ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado, conexión Wi-Fi gratuita y baño privado. Everything! Location is perfect, I could walk everywhere but the room was very quiet in the busy city. Big room, spacious bathroom, wonderful mattress and pillows, nice sheets. I even liked the bedside lamp. There was also a couch, very nice to be able to spend time in the room. Also, trash is taken out and the room is tidied every day.

El Boutique Hotel Albero Nascosto está situado en el centro histórico de Trieste, a menos de 5 minutos a pie del paseo marítimo. We had the apartment, separate from the main hotel. Perfect. It is about 100m further up the street, on the 3rd (top) floor of an old apartment building. Basically a spacious suite with a large, comfortable and (retro) stylish living room/kitchen-diner in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. This worked well for us as we made our own breakfast and used the apartment’s washing machine. Good restaurants and bars on the street and good walking access to the rest of town. The apartment overlooks a small terraced park through which one can climb up to the cathedral, castle, Winckelman Museum, and a plaza with a view over the city: good for sunset with a drink from one of the kiosks. The hotel staff are great.
