Open from September 2019, only 150 metres from JR Hakata Train Station, Miyako Hotel Hakata offers stylish rooms with a flat-screen TV and a private bathroom. Location and staff were impeccable. For example, when the front desk called for a taxi, one of the concierges in the lobby escorted us to the taxi, and made sure the driver knew where we were going. The rooftop pool and spa were most welcome after a long day of travel.

With only a 5-minute walk from Hakata station, the hotel's location is incredibly convenient if you want public transport to do a lot of traveling. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance from the hotel too. The room was spacious for average standards and two complimentary bottles of mineral water would be provided every day. The room was very clean and everything was in great condition. The shower head provides a very comfortable firm stream, showers were a treat at the end of every active day. Staff was very friendly and helpful with check-in and check-out (which were quick and smooth) and had no problem speaking English when needed.
