Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They know English and are willing to help you with anything. They clean the room and give you new towels every day. The toilet is the normal western one, not the Japanese futuristic one but that's ok. The futons are very comfortable. The train station is very close and they have a convenient store close by.

Re-opened in 2012 after thorough renovations, the Tokyo Station Hotel is registered as an Important Cultural Property and boasts gorgeous rooms in a classical European style. We appreciated the helpfulness of the staff at the registration counter, especially when we ran into minor card issues; they were patient and efficient in resolving the matter. The decor, done in warm colors, made us feel comfortable and at home right away. The bathroom was a highlight with its advanced electronic equipment, showcasing the innovative side of Japan that we’ve always heard about — it surely left us questioning bathrooms elsewhere. The location is unbeatable, with the hotel situated right at Tokyo Station, it felt like we had access to not just Tokyo, but all of Japan, especially with our JR Pass allowing us unlimited train rides. Despite the bustling activity with around 4000 trains passing through daily, the hotel was surprisingly silent, ensuring a peaceful stay. The unique Japanese breakfast experience was delightful and a perfect start to our mornings. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and Tokyo Station Hotel is a place we’d love to revisit.

Homely rooms with mountain views, free Wi-Fi and a private bath await guests at Villa Revage, 350 metres from Nikko Botanical Garden. Property offered a wonderful breakfast of a variety of breads and drinks (maximum 6 per person), it was delicious! Very close to bus stop 13 which gets you to the JR station quickly. It’s a 15 minute walk to Lawson in case you need snacks. Hospitality was awesome! We really appreciated the kindness staff had to offer. The private Onsen was awesome!! TATTOOS ARE FINE!

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath. That has been an authentic experience! Staying in ryokan was amazing - room with tatami floor and futon was exactly what we needed to compliment our stay in Japan. The owner and staff were great and helpful. The bath on the top floor has very good facilities and unmatched view. We will definitely be back

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. The room and bathroom was spacious. The overall feeling of the hotel was very luxurious with a beautiful interior on the ground floor. Staff was very helpful and always available.

Open from December 2015, Richmond Hotel Premier Tokyo Schole is located just a 2-minute walk from Oshiage Subway Station, the closest station from the Tokyo Skytree. Employees are so nice and professional, really a good experience.

It was roomy and luxurious. Staff was also helpful. My husband celebrated his birthday there and they provided a small birthday cake for us.

Set within a historic Japanese garden, Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo offers spacious rooms with garden or city views and free Wi-Fi. It has a very nice atmosphere if you like classic design. A bit too Western but beautiful. The Gardens are spectacular. Make sure you see the Silk Clouds and Tokyo Moon show. I recommend experiencing it both in the evening and during the day. Nice spa, although onsen has only one pool. Very clean.
