We had SUCH a great stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel. The location was wonderful, we were in a trendy area with lots of great shops and so many restaurants, yet it was quiet and chill. There are also some nice museums in the area. The room itself was perfect, a big room, comfortable beds, clean. We also took advantage of the wash machine, although it was popular with other guests, it helped us get our clothes clean mid-trip. The staff is super friendly as well.

Location was very convenient, walk distance to the Kyoto station, I loved the room, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the quietness was fantastic, what a cozy place.

We were greeted by very friendly staff that promptly served us tea and a snack while they checked us in. The room was a two-story traditional Japanese apartment with tatami floors and futon beds. The room was beautiful, clean, smelled great and had all the needed amenities. Location is a 15 minutes walk to Kyoto Station and useful bus stops, which was convenient enough to get us to different sites around town. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to try the meals. I would highly recommend this Ryokan.
