El Hotel Tsubakino se encuentra a 3 minutos a pie de la estación de Yudanaka y ofrece baños termales cubiertos y al aire libre con vistas a las montañas nevadas. 1/ easy to contact by messages. Very reactive. 2/ WE were transported by car from the station (200m walk) very convenient when you have many luggages. 3/ you feel special from the start to the finish. The personnel were very classy, helpful, polite. 4/ We had the suite with the private onsen. It was a surprise to discover also a private sauna and massage chair. The luxuary in that room is incredible. Worth every yen (and we are not the kind of people that spend much on hotels, it was a luxuary that we granted ourselves for a special occasion and it made it very special) 5/ the breakfast Is top class japanese cuisine 6/ i recommand getting thé dinner (full kaiseki course). Master class delights. We had a proper private dining room for ourselves (i think included with the suit). 7/ the private onsen... Excellent with a good view. 8/ yudanaka IS a very nice village

Conveniently located just a 3-minute walk from JR Karuizawa Shinkansen (bullet train) Station, Hotel Grand Vert Kyu Karuizawa offers spacious guestrooms with a comfortable sofa and free WiFi. This is a fantastic hotel; location, service, amenities, and the room were all excellent. The people at the front desk were friendly and very helpful, this applied to literally 5-6 people I had interacted with. The service was great, even after electing not to have our room made up, we came back to fresh waters and towels by the door. The room was spacious and very clean. We had the traditional Japanese room, two double beds with a tatami area, for a family of 4, two kids 11 and 14, there were plenty of space for us. Futons were available for the tatami area which was perfect the kids, and the beds were much softer than the typical hotels in Japan. Separate shower and toilet room, both with sinks, was also very convenient. There’s also a library next to a lounge area with a cozy fireplace and cushy leather chairs and free espresso and drinks. I was able to get some work done without being disturbed as it was very quiet. The hotel is about a 7-8 min leisure walk from the Kariuzawa station, super quiet neighborhood, though it may be because the ski season had virtually ended. It took around 10-15 min walk from the hotel to the outlet shopping area in the south side of the station, which had all of the restaurants. The location was superb, easy to find places to eat and get to the ski resort, a 10 min free bus ride from the outlet area.

El Tokonamiso se encuentra en un bosque y ofrece habitaciones de estilo japonés, zona de barbacoa y conexión WiFi gratuita en la zona del vestíbulo. One of the best remote places we've stayed. Mysterious ryokan in the middle of the mountains, with lush greenery, forests, and wonderful onsen. Baths have exceeded our expectations! Wooden 'rotenburo', sauna, - too many words to write to express its beauty. Try stargazing at the veranda too! Location is perfect for someone traveling by car and has a great access to Tsumago-juku or Magome-juku, old preserved Japanese towns of Edo era. Stay there for a few days to unwind. It's a perfect spot for retreat. Will return again!

El Izumiya Zenbe es un alojamiento histórico de estilo japonés fundado en 1876 que cuenta con varios baños termales cubiertos y al aire libre y ofrece un ambiente elegante. Very calm ambience, that matched the relaxing experience the Onsens available in the hotel premises. Everything was organized when it came to the dinner and breakfast in the hotel as well as the onsen's schedule. Very friendly staff and eager to help and understand what you needed.
