Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk. The service was excellent, the staff made us feel special. They even adapted the meal to our preferences.

A 12-minute walk from the Kintetsu Nara Train Station, Hotel New Wakasa offers Japanese-style rooms with tatami (woven-straw) flooring. Really friendly, welcoming staff with good English, welcomed us with tea, showed us to our rooms and advised us about the local areas. Cypress room private onsen was incredible, we booked this in advance (around £25 for an hour) at sunset and had incredible views. One of my favourite onsen experiences of the trip. Public onsen spaces are also nice with multiple baths. Really close to the Nara parks and can easily walk into town for food.

Only a 1-minute walk from the east exit of JR Nara Train Station, the modern Super Hotel Lohas boasts a natural hot-spring bath and a breakfast with fresh-baked bread. Overall we had a wonderful stay. The hotel is right next to the station which is very convenient, the staff was super friendly and everything was perfectly clean. They even assigned a larger room to us, which made our stay even more comfortable. We didn't use the onsen, but in theory we could've used it for free. After checkout, the hotel staff offered to store our luggage free of charge, which was very convenient in order for us to explore the nearby deer park before heading to the next city.

Το Guesthouse Nara Komachi έχει καταλύματα 2 αστέρων στον προορισμό Νάρα, 500μ μακριά από Σταθμός Nara και σε απόσταση 18 χλμ από Iwafune Shrine. Everything was super ! Cant recommend this place enough. Spacious room, decent toilet inside the room. 5 min from Nara station. Surrounded by freat restaurants and not far from Nara Park. We enjoyed our stay sooooo much!! We'll definitely try to come back soon. We were able to leave our luggage a few hours until our train departure. Notes: no cleaning during the stay but if you ned need towels or anything just let them.know or leave everything outside your door and they'll fix it for you. Incredible helpful host ♥️ and a lot of material to plan your day in the lobby. Kitchen facility available, but also sooooo many restaurants around that we tried as much as we could.
