Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. The personal is lovely, everyone had the disposition for help and be cooperative, everybody had a great attitude. From the welcoming until we left was very comfortable and cosy. Also the hotel feel very authentic the borrow you yukata dresses for your comfort. I recommend this experience a lot, if you never sleep in a futon over a tatami you should try it.

Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. The best value of hotel in our Japan trip as we used the onsen almost daily after all the walking about in the day. We got a room with a view of the temple and we could see skytree from the women's onsen. The place is clean and cleaned daily by the staff in our 8 night there.

A lounge is reserved exclusively for suite room guests to enjoy a light meal service and terrace seating. The elegant interior is designed with respect to culture and tradition suitable for being left to future generations. In the middle of Tokyo, feel the breath of each season as you experience a moment of relaxation. It's a great place. Lovely rooms of a generous size. Great gardens and views. After one has stayed in other hotels in Tokyo it is a great pleasure to find such a wonderful place. Location seems a little remote but once you understand it it's actually rather good. Short walk down to Nishiwasoda and along to Takadanobaba past numerous jazz clubs and restaurants. 61 bus goes from outside the door down to Shinjuku. Next to hotel there is a vegetarian restaurant if that is your kind of thing. Down the hill there's a place called Le Pain France which looks good through we did not go there. Garden room is worth the extra. Takes it from good to special. The restaurants in the hotel are great too.

Private parking is available at an additional charge. Nearby attractions include Rikugien Garden, a 20-minute walk away. Well-equipped and clean apartment in a quieter, but well-connected neighborhood. The staff was kind and helpful; we had an absolutely pleasant stay. The hotel has an onsen on the top floor, which can be used by the hotel guest. I would totally stay here again, 10/10!
