Overlooking picturesque Kawaguchi Lake in the serene Mount Fuji area, Rakuyu boasts comfortable guest rooms and natural hot spring baths. Free Wi-Fi is provided in the public area. Everything - room was way bigger than expected, with 2 full size rooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony and a sitting down area. Also, the hot tub/private onsen was way bigger than it seemed in the photos, and could easily fit 2 people at the same time. The onsen room was also way better looking than in the photos. Also, despite saying that it doesn’t serve dinner, the ‘light meals’ at the lounge are more than enough to satisfy given you can take as many as you want, and quite delicious. My favourite meals here were during the tea time though, so make sure not to miss it.

Right on the shore of the scenic Kawaguchiko Lake, Hotel New Century boasts spacious Japanese-style rooms overlooking the lake and Mount Fuji. This hotel really took care of us. They, can secure you to rent a bikes directly in hotel, they can pick you up or give a ride if needed. Staff was really friendly and they could speak English. But the most amazing part is the room where you sleep on tatami and have breathtaking view on Mt. Fuji. They also have their own onsen and massage chairs.

Featuring great views of Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi, Konanso boasts natural hot spring baths and large Japanese-style rooms with traditional tatami (woven-straw) flooring. We had a fantastic time at Konsano. The private Onsen and dinner in our room were some of the highlights of our trip and they were very accommodating to our dietary requirements. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, special mention to our room clerk Etsuko who made us tea on arrival and served our meal. We were lucky enough to see Mt Fuji on our first day, and the rooftop footbath was much needed after all our exploring!

Super clean and well maintained facilities. Feels like home. Friendly and knowledgeable staffs. Highly recommended hot spring bath. Stunning view of Mt.Fuji!

The hostess was very helpful. She ordered delivery, gave us directions, and even took us to the station after checkout (a great surprise, we weren't expecting it). The house is beautiful, clean, with air conditioning in the bedroom and living room, good bathroom amenities, nice futons, and blankets. We used the bicycles for sightseeing. There are many well-kept flowers in the outdoor area.

K’s House Mount Fuji is a 19-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Train Station. It offers simple accommodation with free Wi-Fi, a free-use kitchen and spacious lounge in the popular Mount Fuji area. It was so great, huge kitchen, nice common room, comfy bed and clean showers. There is a 24/7 open store right behing the corner and Kawaguchiko lake is few minutes by walk. Many restaurants around and its just 15 minutes walk from Kawaguchiko station. I reccomend this palce so much!

Perfect location, right next to the train and bus station, with many restaurants and shops nearby. 10 minutes walk to the lake. Our tatami room is very clean and tidy, with the amazing view of Mt. Fuji right outside of our window. We were so lucky with the weather as well, cloudless blue sky for the whole two days so we had superb view of the Fuji everyday. It was very interesting to try the traditional Japanese room and to sleep in the futons. Top floor public bath is very nice too. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Great value for money.
