The location of the hotel was excellent to walk around the town and access to the river attractions. The restaurant was perfectly located with an excellent view. Breakfast choices were excellent. Rooms were great. Staff in particular were exceptional.

This place is a gem. It is also a living crafts center that supports local textile weavers by providing work space, marketing, and a shop that exhibits and sells their work. Ock PopTok even provides health benefits! It is a beautiful partnership that promotes fair trade and provides sustainable income for the village women, who pass their skills from mother to daughter. Their products are truly beautiful. The grounds are thoughtfully landscaped, quiet and peaceful. The staff is super. It's the people who really make this place special. The open air restaurant serves tasty fresh meals while you watch life on the Mekong roll by and enjoy beautiful sunsets. The room itself was clean, quiet, and mosquito proof, the bed was comfortable, the AC ran efficiently and quietly. We would stay here again.

The former residence of a prince, Angsana Maison Souvannaphoum Hotel is a colonial-style mansion featuring both Laotian and French design elements. The hotel was wonderful. It was even better than expected. Great location. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. We really loved the character of the hotel and the salt water swimmingpool. The restaurant was fantastic and staff was friendly and helpful. Beautiful rooms. Near downtown but in a quiet green area. There were great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.
